While situating you on this high seated touring tricycle, we want you to have an excellent overview in almost every situation. A seat height of 57 centimeters (22.5″) is a unique highlight for this type of bike.

To build a touring tricycle with a high seat position was the goal when enhancing the Scorpion-class. The high seat guarantees an excellent overview of traffic. It eases mounting in a way that wasn’t achieved before with trikes of this design. But it is up to you: If you like to change your Scorpion plus into a racy speedster, it will take only a few seconds. Just open three quick-release levers, take down the mesh seat – and install the sporty hardshell seat!
Accessories that make sense: Scorpion plus – that means a “Plus” of comfort in either way. Whereas others have to clutch the handlebars, you can depose your arm smoothly on the hand rests – and look forward to a relaxed performance. Or try our pedals with heel strap and foot clamp, which will make cleat-based pedal systems obsolete. Your feet will stay super reliable in the pedal – by using your everyday footwear!
The special Plus: The Scorpion plus 26 will desert the SUV genes just in one aspect: In spite of its wide frame it folds to convenient dimensions in only one minute. To achieve this, our designers re-engineered the main frame’s patented quick-folding hinge. At the same time, this re-design increased the maximum payload. Thanks to the improved quick-folding hinge, the maximum load has been increased to 150 kg (330 lbs.).

There Are Very Good Reasons for Claiming the “Plus”
The backbone of the SUV-trike is the swept-forward frame. The geometry is based on the striking silhouette of the Scorpions and unfolds in particular with its large 26″ rear wheel. Discover the way how the SUV features including a more spacious and higher seating position blend in with the irresistible advantages of this kind of tricycle for adults: a smoother ride, less rolling resistance, and easier obstacle traversing.
Curious? At first glance, the Scorpion plus 26 is about ten centimeters (4″) higher and wider than its sporty cousin, the Scorpion fs 26. But the new design now allows far smaller riders with heights from just 1.49 meters (4’11”) to easily mount the comfortable full suspension trikes: Have a seat, turn the pedals, and treat yourself to luxurious comfort.
For experts, the actual design plus becomes clearer on closer inspection: the seat position on this generation plus model appears to be moved forward to the cross frame. In fact, the seat position is further back. This allows HP Velotechnik engineers to optimize the center of gravity and give the higher touring tricycle unprecedented stability.
Your bonus: The rear racks can hold four conventional bags with a load of up to 50 kg (110 lbs) without other accessories like water bottles or E-drive batteries getting in the way. With Lowrider fitted, it can handle four panniers with a payload of up to 50 kilograms (110 lbs). Above the rear wheel, the optional Top Load platform offers space for light luggage. Thanks to the improved quick-folding hinge, HP Velotechnik was able to increase the maximum load to 150 kilograms (330 lbs)!

Scorpion Plus 26: A Great Trike – Also For Saving Space
With the Scorpion plus 26, HP Velotechnik continues the concept of the Scorpion series, which presented the first fully suspended speed trike with a smooth-running 26-inch rear wheel that can be folded flat for transport without tools.
In just a few simple steps, it only takes a minute to fold up your high touring tricycle into a space-saving package with dimensions of 81 × 91 × 99 cm. The Scorpion plus 26 folds without removing the wheels, even with the luggage rack and fenders attached. And the chain? The chain rotates around its axis and otherwise reliably remains where it should be, guided by the flexible chain guard tubes.
The best part: When you unfold the trike, HP Velotechnik’s unique, self-locking folding hinge enables you to turn your excited anticipation into pure riding pleasure quickly!
